Been listening to this for a couple of weeks now just to get a grip on it and to really be able to give a complete review,with that being said,WELCOME BACK DAVE AND WELCOME WOLFGANG,to me Van Halen has never sounded better and with the departure of Michael Anthony(Good Bye and Hope the Red Rocker is treating you well) and the addition of Wolfgang Van Halen,which by the way from the sound of this album he is holding his own quite well,Van Halen has gone back to their roots and original sound,and I can not say enough good things about this album,so if you get a chance and are a Van Halen fan I highly suggest going out and getting this album,it is in all intensive terms "A THROW BACK ALBUM" and very addictive.
